My coumputer was giving trouble last night,but now I want to start my fist journal. yesterday I mada bigmistake I forgat if it was st Patrick day. I putted a green tape, after school two people asked me if Iam an Irish. What I can undertand Why people who not Irish have to wear green.
Usually for Valentine specially women wear pink to showed their love to someone.I also notist that for new year people wear red to cebrate their happiness. My first year in america was a big suprise when I saw my sister gave me a red dress to put one.Now I realize in america colors has a special meaning. Even for dress is not any color you can put ,for exemple summer must american would not wear red.For spring you will see people wear green yelllo or bleu.In my country colors does not account peoplecan wear any colors at any seson

That's interesting, Ruth. I never really thought about it. I think only Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day have specific colors associated with them. Not everyone thinks it's important to wear certain colors on those days either. You're right about the seasons, though. Many people won't wear white until after Memorial Day or after Labor Day. It's considered a summer color. I don't think people care that much anymore, but it used to be a very common "rule." I guess the clothing might not match the seasons in Haiti because there may not be as big a difference between the seasons as there is in most of the U.S.
